Semana internacional de solidaridad con el prisionero anti fascista Jock Palfreeman

Hacemos un llamado urgente a todos los anarquistas, anti facistas y otros grupos pertenecientes a la izquierda anti-autoritaria, a actuar en solidaridad con Jock Palfreeman. Jock ha pasado varios de sus 20 años de vida, en una prisión en Bulgaria. Hoy tbaja activamente organizando a sus compañeros en prisión y denunciando casos de represión por parte de los carceleros

Es uno de los fundadores de la Asociación de Presos de Bulgaria. En los últimos años, los llamados de solidaridad desde el anarquismo y el movimiento anti-fascista en contra de su encarcelamiento ha sido decepcionante. Él necesita que más grupos e individuos se sumen a la  campaña por su libertad. Su familia y algunos liberales han armado una red apoyo solidario para tratar de recaudar dinero para pagar la fianza, pero Jock siempre ha pedido una solidaridad más directa de que no sea sólo pedirle cordialmente a las autoridades su libertad.

El necesita que la gente no sólo ejerza una  presión constante sobre las autoridades búlgaras en forma de cartas y correos electrónicos, si no que también se organicen manifestaciones y piquetes frente a las embajadas y/o cualquier otra institución búlgaras, para hacer que su caso sea de conocimiento general.

Por favor, sigan publicando información acerca de Jock en sus blogs, sitios web y otros medios sociales, esperamos que se unan a la proxima semana internacional de la solidaridad con Jock que se realizara del 22 al 28 de abril, utilizando su imaginación y creatividad para expresar su solidaridad.

Jock Palfreeman, joven australiano que el 27 de diciembre de 2007,  en Sofía, Bulgaria; tuvo el valor de enfrentarse contra un grupo de hooligans fascistas. Tras ser testigo de como los fascistas persiguían y atacabN a dos jóvenes muchachos gitanos, Jock corrió para ayudarlos. Hizo todo lo posible para mantener alejado a los fascistas pero volvieron y lo atacaron a él. Sin ningún lugar para correr, Jock no tuvo más remedio que defenderse. Andrey Monov, uno de los miembros de la pandilla racista, fue apuñalado y murió más tarde. Otro, Anton Zahariev resultó herido. Los niños romaníes huyeron. Jock desde entonces ha sido juzgado y condenado por asesinato e intento de asesinato.

Fue condenado a 20 años de prisión y se le dio una multa de cientos de miles de dólares. El padre de Andrey Monovs es muy conocido en Bulgaria y en su funeral hubo una mezcla de jueces, policías y políticos. El Juicio de Jock fue (como es lógico) una farsa – un ejemplo más de la corrupción, apretones de manos secretos en el sistema judicial y el sesgo de los medios de comunicación.

El caso  fue construido sobre las declaraciones hechas por los otros racistas que formaban parte del grupo atacante, todos dijeron que Jock los persiguió y atacó sin ni un motivo y con la clara intención de matar a alguien. Los testigos claves para la defensa de Jocks, nunca fueron entrevistados por la policía y las imágenes de CCTV de la escena, milagrosamente desaparecieron. Muchas de las declaraciones hechas en el momento eran diferentes a las declaraciones presentadas ante el tribunal por el fiscal., Mientras que la declaración de Jocks se ha mantenido constante desde la noche en cuestión.

Jock apeló la sentencia y audiencias de la corte entre octubre de 2010 y enero de 2011, pero su condena de 20 años fue confirmada. La familia de Jock está reuniendo los fondos necesarios y puedes donar visitando www.freejock.com. Tenemos que demostrarle a Jock que no está solo en su lucha y que estaremos con él siempre.

Cualquier acción solidaria puede recorrer un largo camino para garantizar eso. Recientemente ha ayudado a crear la Asociación de Presos de Bulgaria (www.bulgarianprisonersassociation.wordpress.com) y dado que es su representante, sufre constantemente la represión de parte de la administración de la prisión, por ejemplo se le negó el acceso a una computadora para poder continuar con su educación universitaria, y en respuesta eso estuvo 30 días en huelga de hambre. Jock necesita que actuemos y mostremos nuestra solidaridad. Ahora, más que nunca, es importante presionar las autoridades búlgaras tanto  como sea posible, para que acepten la transferencia de Jock a Australia.

International Week of Solidarity with Anti-fascist prisoner Jock Palfreeman

We are urgently calling all anarchist, anti-fascist and other anti-authoritarian left wing groups to act in solidarity with Jock Palfreeman. Jock has already served several years of his 20 year sentence in Bulgaria. He actively works towards organising his fellow prisoners and highlights cases of repression by the prison authorities.

He is one of the founders of the Bulgarian Prisoners Association. In the last few years, the response to his imprisonment and calls for solidarity with him from the anarchist and anti-fascist movement have been underwhelming. He needs more groups and individuals to join the campaign for his freedom. His family and some liberals have been organising support for him and trying to raise money for his fine; but Jock was always asking for a more direct kind of solidarity other than just politely asking the authorities to be nice.

He needs people to not only constantly put pressure on the Bulgarian authorities in the form of letters and emails, but also organise demos and pickets outside embassies and/or any other Bulgarian institutions, generally spreading awareness about his case.

Jock Palfreeman is an Australian who, on the 27th December 2007, on a night out in Sofia, Bulgaria; had the courage to stand up against a group of fascist hooligans. Witnessing the fascists chasing and attacking two young Roma boys, Jock ran to the boys’ aid. He did his best to keep the fascists at bay but they ended up turning on and attacking him. Left with nowhere to run, Jock had no choice but to defend himself. Andrey Monov, one of the racist gang, was stabbed and later died. Another, Anton Zahariev was injured. The Roma boys ran away. Jock has since been tried and sentenced for murder and attempted murder.

He was sentenced to 20 years imprisonment and has been given a fine running into hundreds of thousands of dollars. Andrey Monovs father is well known in Bulgaria and at his funeral there were a mixture of judges, police and politicians. Jock’s trial was (not surprisingly) a complete sham – yet another example of corruption, secret handshakes in the judicial system and media bias. The prosecutions case was built on the witness statements made by the other racists that were part of the attacking group, all claiming that Jock randomly attacked and chased them, with the intent of killing somebody. Key people and possible witnesses for Jocks defence were never interviewed by police and CCTV footage from the scene miraculously went missing. Many of the statements made at the time were different to the statements submitted to the court by the prosecution., while Jocks statement has remained consistent from the night in question.

Jock appealed against his sentence and court hearings took place between October 2010 and January 2011, but his sentence of 20 years was upheld.  Jock’s family is currently collecting necessary funds and you can donate by visiting the www.freejock.com.We need to let Jock know that he is not alone in his struggle and that we are in it for the long run. Any solidarity actions can go a long way to assure that. He recently helped create the Bulgarian Association of Prisoners (www.bulgarianprisonersassociation.wordpress.com) and because he is its Chairman, he suffers repression from the prison’s administration, such as a recent refusal of computer access to continue his university education, which pushed Jock into a 30-day hunger-strike. Jock needs us to act and he needs our solidarity.It is now more important than ever, that we collectively put as much pressure on the Bulgarian authorities as possible, to accept Jock’s transfer to Australia.

Consideramos que es importante intervenir, no porla defensa legal, por supuesto, pues no nos importa ni un poco, sino queriendo expresar una vez más nuestra solidaridad al anarquista revolucionario Theofilos Mavropoulos, quien fue detenido el 18/5/11 después de un enfrentamiento armado, dejando dos policías lesionados en el suelo  y lamentablemente lesionandose a sí mismo, hecho que lo llevó a su cautiverio. Viendo los testimonios de los policías (Leontopoulos, Drosos) que lloraban a los jueces acerca de la cantidad de dolor que experimentaban y las marcas que le derajon los golpes de Theofilos, un hecho que sólo puede traer una sonrisa a un anarquista, vemos lo fácil que es el cambio de roles y cómo se transforma el victimario de la esclavitud, la humillación, la protección de las instituciones, las palizas a los inmigrantes y marginados, los protectores del Estado y el capital, de tráfico de drogas, de la reproducción de las relaciones de autoridad, sumisión y la opresión, en víctima a manos de un anarquista que lucha por la vida, la dignidad y la libertad.

No estábamos esperando el testimonio de los policías para defender la acción de nuestro compañero. Theofilos Mavropoulos desde el momento de su detención, asumió toda la responsabilidad de sus acciones haciendo hincapié en que lo haría de nuevo si fuera necesario. Abriendo fuego contra los enemigos de la libertad, permitió que sus compañeros escaparan en el coche de los policía. Decimos, pues, que estamos en solidaridad con el compañero Theofilos Mavropoulos. Un acto que muestra como les damos sentido al término solidaridad por todos  los medios y hasta el final. Decimos, pues, que estamos en solidaridad con el compañero Theofilos Mavropoulos y que seguiremos estando a su lado.

We considered it important to intervene, of course not for the legal defence since it does not concern us even a bit, wanting to state once more our solidarity to anarchist revolutionary Theofilos Mavropoulos, who was arrested on 18/5/11 after an armed clash leaving two cops on the ground injured and unfortunately getting injured himself, a fact which led to his captivity. Watching the testimonies of the cops (Leontopoulos, Drosos) who were crying at the judges about how much pain they experienced and the scrams they made from Theofilos’s hits, a fact that can only bring a smile to an anarchist seeing how easy the roles change and how transforms the victimizer of slavery, humiliation, the protection of institutions, the beatings of immigrants and marginalized, the protectors of the state and capital, of drug dealing, of reproduction of authoritative relations, subjugation and non freedom, into a victim in the hands of an anarchist who fights for life, ignity and freedom.

We were not waiting for the testimony of the cops to defend our comrades choices. Theofilos Mavropoulos from the first moment of his arrest took full responsibility of his actions stressing that he would do it again if needed. Opening fire on the enemies of freedom gave the chance to his comrade to escape with their own cop car. An act which shows how we give meaning to the term SOLIDARITY with all means and TO THE END We state therefore that we in SOLIDARITY with comrade Theofilos Mavropoulos and that we are and will remain next to him.

Carabineros realizó la mañana de este jueves 28 de marzo, dos violentos allanamientos en distintos puntos de Temuco, en el contexto de labores represivas previas a la conmemoración del Día del Joven Combatiente.

Según la prensa 12 personas resultaron detenidas en ambos operativos, dentro de las cuales hay 4 mujeres. Todos/as fueron llevados/as al asqueroso cuartel de la Octava Comisaría, de Temuco.

Uno de los operativos se efectuó en una casa ubicada en calle San Ernesto con O’Higgins, en el sector Plaza Dreve que correspondería al Espacio Pandemia, la cual hace unos días emitió un comunicado ante los hostigamientos policiales, y de manera simultánea se efectuó un allanamiento en calle Capri, del sector Amanecer.

Según los delirantes policías encontraron drogas, elementos para fabricación de explosivos, relojes y 2 bombas a medio armar instaladas en extintores, cosa que resulta extraña cuando solo hace unos días se emitió el comunicado desde el espacio Pandemia.

Las supuestas especies encontradas son analizadas para intentar vincular a los compas con los dispositivos instalados recientemente en la Dirección Regional de Gendarmería de Temuco y en un incendio en el patio de maderas de las tienda Sodimac.

Hoy 29 de marzo, el Juzgado de Garantía de Temuco dictaminó lo siguiente: las compañeras formalizadas por el delito de tenencia, fabricación e instalación de artefactos explosivos, son Ariadna Torres Torres, Roxana Marín Laurie y Yaritza Grandón Paredes, quienes deberán pasar 5 meses en prisión preventiva. Además dos compañeros fueron cargados con marihuana y están siendo procesados por poseer 100 gramos, por lo que estarán en prisión preventiva al menos por tres meses. También quedaron en libertad 6 compañeros/as, que deberán pagar una multa de 2 UTM por negarse a dar sus identidades.

El llamado es a solidarizar no solo con los/as compañeros/as secuestrados/as por el capital, sino también con el espacio Pandemia.

The police carried out in the morning of Thursday March 28, two violent raids in different parts of Temuco (Chile), in the context of repressive tasks before the commemoration of the Youth Combatant’s Day.

According to media reports, 12 people were arrested in both operations, four of them were women. They were taken to the «disgusting» police station of  Temuco.

One of the operatives took place in a house at San Ernesto st. with O’Higgins st; in the area of Dreve square, which would correspond to Pandemia Space, where a few days ago were released a statement against the police harassment, at the same time a raid took place in Capri Street, Amanecer area.

According to the raving policemen were found: drugs, explosives manufacturing elements, watches and 2 unfinished bombs installed in fire extinguishers, something strange when you consider that just a few days ago the statement was released from Pandemia space

The items supposedly found, are analyzed to try to link the comrades with the devices installed recently at the Regional Temuco’s Gendarmerie Directorate and in a fire in the wood yard of Sodimac store.

Today March 29, the Temuco’s Court of Guarantee, resolved that: the  comrades  formalized for the crime of possession, manufacture and installation of explosive devices, are: Adriana Torres Torres, Roxana Marín Laurie y Yaritza Grandón Paredes,  who will spend five months in custody. Also two comrades were charged with 100 grams of marijuana and they are being processed, so they will be in custody for at least three months.Six comrades were released but they should pay an amount of 2 UTM (U$D 160) for refusing to give their identities.

The call is to solidarize not only with the comrades kidnapped by the capitalist system, but also with the Pandemia space.

Posible salida de prisión en Julio 2013 – Possible release date July 2013

Desde octubre de 1996 he estado detenido en las mazmorras del Estado alemán. Fui sentenciado a once años y medio de prisión por el robo a un banco para recaudar fondos  para proyectos de izquierda. Más tarde fui condenado a un período de cinco años y tres meses por «insultar» a fiscales, a jueces y a políticos.

He sido un Skinhead, rojo y anarquista (RASH), durante muchos años, y el gobierno me ha mantenido aislado (confinamiento solitario) desde 1996 hasta mayo de 2007. desde hace 6 años que he estado con la población general de la prisión  y terminaré mi sentencia en julio de éste año.

Pero en 1997 el Tribunal Penal añade la llamada «prisionn preventiva» (PP) a mi sentencia, en base a una ley nazi de noviembre de 1933, que permite al Estado mantener a un preso en custodia más allá del final de su condena  , si es que  quieren podria ser para el resto de la vida del recluso.

recientemente la corte ha abierto mi caso para decidir si voy a PP en julio del 2013, la verdad no hay muchas chances de que los jueces me liberen . pero aún así seré amable y apreciare la solidaridad de las personas que puedan escribir alguna carta o correo electrónico al tribunal apoyando la lucha por mi libertad

Since October 1996 I’ve been kept in the dungeons of the German state. I was sentenced to eleven and a half years in prison for one bank-robbery to fundraise money for left-wing projects. Later I was sentenced to a further five years and three months for “insulting” prosecutors, judges and politicians.

I have been a Red and Anarchist Skinhead (RASH) for many years, and the government kept me in isolation (solitary confinement) from 1996 until May 2007. I have been in the general prison population for the past six years and will finish my sentences in July 2013.

But in 1997 the criminal court added the so-called “preventive detention” (PD) to my sentence, based on a Nazi-Law from November 1933 which allows the state to keep a prisoner in custody over and above the end of their regular sentence, if they want to for the rest of the inmate’s life.

Recently the courts opened my files to decide if I will go to PD in July 2013. In the end there is not much real chance that the judges will set me free, but it would still be helpful and I would appreciate the solidarity, if people could write some letters and e-mails to the court and support my struggle for freedom.

Carta del Prisionero Anarquista Alfredo Cospito al  C.C.F. (Italia/Grecia)

Queridísimos compañeros, queridísima compañera, vuestra carta me ha dado fuerzas y alegría. Tendría tantas cosas que decir, solo mencionaré algunas. El papel de lxs compas presxs solo puede ser de análisis, dotar de herramientas complementarias a lxs compas fuera. Además de la obvia rebelión y no resignación dentro de las cárceles, la lucha continúa, y vosotrxs nos dais un ejemplo con vuestra resistencia. La comunicación solo puede tener lugar a través de la acción, no se debe delegar, de ninguna manera, la comunicacion a los profesionales de la palabra, es vital que las noticias, las ideas den la vuelta al mundo, pero hay que evitar por todos los medios la burocratización de un proceso que debe permanecer ajeno a élites de especialistas de la información. La proyectualidad debe ser el producto de la acción de lxs compas fuera y de los análisis de lxs compas presxs.

El encuentro público que se llevará a cabo en Tesalónica (Grecia) sobre la contrainformación es importante, estoy seguro de que en vuestra intervención comentareis mi objeción. Esto no quita, naturalmente, que la “contrainformación”, las páginas web, los blogs sean importantes, pero son otra cosa. No hay que confundir la práctica contrainformativa con la acción directa. Las palabras de coherencia de lxs hermanxs en guerra son las únicas que tienen verdadero peso. El llamado “anarquismo social” gira entorno a la herramienta de la “asamblea”, convertida en escenario de autoritarismo, terreno de cultivo de jefes y jefecillos cuyo único objetivo es la autoreferencialidad. Lxs politiquerxs anarquistas hacen de todo para dominar, en sus orígenes, lo nuevo que avanza. Lo nuevo que avanza es la concreción de la organización informal, organizacion que algunxs insurreccionalistas insisten en llenar de inútiles abstracciones teóricas, cálculos políticos, mediaciones continúas en busca de un consenso civil que degrada de hecho cualquier validez revolucionaria.

Cuando hablan las acciones, el poder de decisión que obtienen lxs líderes anarquistas a través de su carisma dentro de las asambleas, se deshará y el grupo de afinidad, el individuo de acción recuperará fuerza. A los “realistas” de la anarquía, no les queda más que obstaculizar lo nuevo empujando cada vez más a las “luchas sociales” en busca de un “consenso popular” que solo se puede alcanzar renegando progresivamente de todo aquello que es anarquista y genuinamente insurreccionalista.

Gracias a vuestros escritos, conceptos como el nihilismo y el anarquismo antisocial se están extendiendo por todas partes. Todavía hay mucho camino por recorrer, la dirección es la correcta. Vuestro coraje me llena de orgullo. Desde los muros de esta celda, Olga, mi sonrisa te saluda. Mi carne es vuestra carne, mi sangre es vuestra sangre.

Letter by Anarchist prisoner Alfredo Cospito to the C.C.F. (Italy, Greece)

Dear comrades, your letter gave me strength and joy. I have many things to say but I will limit myself to a few of those. The role of the comrades held hostage cannot be but that of analysis, the supplying of the comrades outside the walls with further tools. Beyond the obvious of insurrection and non-subjugation inside the prisons, the struggle continues, and you gave us an example with your resistance. Communication cannot but be carried out through action and this is why we do not have to assign it in some way to the professionals of speech. It is vital, of course, that the news and ideas go around the world. It is necessary however that we avoid in any way the transformation into bureaucracy of a procedure that must remain free from the elite of those who specialize in information. The ability of planning must be the fruit of the action of comrades outside the wall and the analysis of the hostage comrades.
The public dialogue which will take place in Thessaloniki in the frames of counter-information is important, and I am sure that during your intervention you will mention my objection.

This, of course, does not abolish the fact that counter-information, the sites, the blogs, are important, simply all this is something else. We do not have to confuse the practice of counter-information with direct action. The word of consistency by the sisters and brothers in the war is the only one which really matters. The so-called “social anarchism” makes everything spin around the “organ of the assembly”, which has become the field of authority and breeding of young and old leaders, whose sole purpose is self-reference. Politician anarchists do anything they can in order to drown, at its birth, the new which gains ground.

The newness which gains ground is the making of an informal organization, an organization which some rebels insist on overloading with useless and abstract meanings, political considerations, continuous mediations in search of urban acceptance, which in reality deforms any revolutionary element.

When actions speak, the decisive influence applied by the “leaders of anarchy” through their talent in the assemblies will come crumble to pieces, and the group of relevance, the individuality of action, will regain strength. The “realists” of anarchy have nothing more to do but dispute the new, promoting even more the “social struggles”, searching for the “popular consent” which can be acquired only with steady rejection of everything anarchist and insurrectional.

Thanks to your letters, perceptions such as nihilism and anti-social anarchism, are spreading to every corner. We have a long way to go still and the direction we took is the right one. Your courage fills me with dare. Through the walls of this cell, Olga, my smile greets you. My flesh is your flesh, my blood is your blood.
